The best distillery tour I've experienced. Much better than the big boys. Learned so much and laughed a lot.
The big distillers may have the scale, the polished visitor centres and the huge production facilities, but Blackness has something they can't manufacture. They have a Colm.
I've done many distillery tours in my time and I honestly learnt more about distilling on this tour than all the other ones combined.

How long do tours run?
Tours run to about 90 minutes. Tour & Meal runs 90 minutes for the tour followed by your meal at our Lobster Pot restaurant.
Can I do a tour if I don't drink?
Absolutely. Drivers and people not drinking on the day will be given three 50ml rum samples to take away.
What's the minimum age?
You can tour the distillery from age 12, but only over-18s can taste. Bring photo ID. Sorry, but it's the law.
Is it accessible?
The distillery is fully wheelchair accessible. Let us know your needs when booking and we'll plan around them.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your booking. After that we'll do our best.
Where do I park?
Free parking right outside on the bay. If you are coming by train, it's a short taxi ride from Linlithgow train station.
